History Today! A few weeks ago I went to a museum with lots of old armour and the main question I'm left with is: "What is the thought process involved in looking at a metal helmet and then concluding, 'Needs moar brightly-coloured feathery plumes!!1!!' ". So I googled and presumbly some Victorian commissioned this painting? Is it a scene from a famous story and I'm merely being unedikated? "Hey, y'know what would look great on this tank? A neon yellow feather boa!!1!!" Yeah... no.
